This is to inform you that you have been living in my house as a tenant for the last ten years. You had verbally committed that after five years you would increase the rent to keep up with the increased maintenance costs as municipal taxes etc. But it is a matter of regret that you did not keep up your promise. The situation has come to such a position that prices of all things have risen up much. Under these circumstances I would request you to increase your rent at least by 10% from the month of May, 2024.
